9/5/19-9/8/19: Inver Grove Heights Days
Family highlights: Community Family Fun Night, kids treasure hunt, grand parade and fireworks. FREE admission. ($3 Button required for many events, including Family Fun Night and Kids Treasure Hunt).

9/6/19-9/8/19: James J. Hill Days | Lake Street, Downtown Wayzata
Family highlights: $5 cruises on the Steamboat Minnehaha, a carnival, parade, and fireworks. FREE admission.

9/6/19-9/8/19: CountryFest | St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Oak Grove
Family highlights: Entertainment, kids games and food.

9/7/19: Harvest of Art Celebration | Eagan Art House
Family highlights: Short film festival, artist demos and other entertainment. 1-8pm.

9/7/19: Mac-Grove Fest | Groveland Park, St. Paul
Family highlights: Live entertainment, fire truck visit, and crafts. Activities include climbing wall, bounce house, gaga pit, etc.

9/7/19: Minneapolis Monarch Festival | Lake Nokomis, 49th & Woodlawn
Art-making activities, guided nature walks, music and monarch exhibits. 10am-4pm.

9/7/19-9/8/19: Edina Fall into the Arts Festival | Centennial Lakes Park, Edina
Family highlights: A nice excuse to enjoy the outdoors while the weather is still nice while viewing works by local and regional artists.

Family highlights: Grape stomping competitions for both children and adults, live music and tours.

9/7/19-9/22/19: Eagan Art Block | Eagan 
Family highlights: Kid-friendly activities include coloring & hot cocoa, CAP Super Saturday, National Dot Day, movie screenings.

9/7/19-10/27/19: Scarecrow Festival | Emma Krumbees, Belle Plaine | Open daily 10am-6pm | $6/pp | Family highlights: Admission includes activities like tractor trikes, wagon rides, a slide and the annual Great Scarecrow Display. (They haven’t updated their website, but we have verified that the Festival is going)

9/8/19: Johnny Appleseed Day | Bruentrup Heritage Farm, Maplewood | FREE | Family highlights: Bouncy house, haywagon rides, cider-making, old-fashioned cars, try to work a peddle tractor, cornhusk craft, butter making and face painting.

9/13/19-9/14/19: St Paul Oktoberfest | Historic Schmidt Brewery
Family highlights: Opening parade, bed races and a kids carnival.

9/14/19: Minnesota Children’s Book Festival | Anderson Center, Red Wing
Family highlights: One of Family Fun Twin Cities favorite annual events! Meet local children’s book authors, hear them read from their books and purchase a signed copy. There are also games, activities and art projects and it is always a beautiful drive.

9/14/19: Otsego Prairie Festival | Prairie Park, Otsego
Family highlights: Catch firetruck displays, a carnival and fireworks at dusk. 10am-dusk, FREE.
