9/4/19-9/7/19: Burnsville Fire Muster | Family highlights: Don’t miss the fire truck demonstrations, annual community and fire truck parade and fireworks. FREE admission.

9/5/19-9/8/19: Inver Grove Heights Days | Family highlights: Community Family Fun Night, kids treasure hunt, grand parade and fireworks. FREE admission. ($3 Button required for many events, including Family Fun Night and Kids Treasure Hunt).

9/6/19-9/8/19: James J. Hill Days | Lake Street, Downtown Wayzata | Family highlights: $5 cruises on the Steamboat Minnehaha, a carnival, parade, and fireworks. FREE admission.

9/6/19-9/8/19: CountryFest | St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Oak Grove | Family highlights: Entertainment, Kids Games and Food.

9/7/19: Harvest of Art Celebration | Eagan Art House | 1-8pm | Family highlights: Short film festival, artist demos and other entertainment.

9/7/19: Minneapolis Monarch Festival | Lake Nokomis, 49th & Woodlawn | 10am-4pm | Art-making activities, guided nature walks, music and monarch exhibits.

9/7/19-9/8/19: Edina Fall into the Arts Festival | Centennial Lakes Park, Edina |  Family highlights: A nice excuse to enjoy the outdoors while the weather is still nice while viewing works by local and regional artists.

9/13/19-9/14/19: St Paul Oktoberfest | Historic Schmidt Brewery | Family highlights: Opening parade, bed races and a kids carnival.

9/14/19: Blaine World Fest | Blaine | 1-4pm | Family highlights: Cultural learning booths, and ethnic food vendors and food trucks. Rain or Shine.

9/14/19: Golden Valley Arts & Music Festival | City Hall Campus | Family highlights: Family-friendly live entertainment, games, art activities and artist vendors to browse. FREE.

9/14/19: Nickle Dickle Day | Waconia | Family highlights: Kid Zone, live music, library sale. FREE.

9/14/19: Wild Rice Festival | Harriet Alexander Nature Center, Roseville | 10am-4pm | Family highlights: Games for all, activities with Gibbs Farm, Native American dancing and drumming, hands-on demos and much more. FREE admission.

9/14/19: Minnesota Children’s Book Festival | Anderson Center, Red Wing | Family highlights: One of Family Fun Twin Cities Favorite annual events! Meet local children’s book authors, hear them read from their books and purchase a signed copy. There are also games, activities and art projects and it is always a beautiful drive.

9/14/19: Otsego Prairie Festival| Prairie Park, Otsego | 10am-dusk | Family highlights: Catch firetruck displays, a carnival and fireworks at dusk. FREE
