Parktacular starts out strong with a “Splash into Summer pool” event Friday night followed by the Grand Day Parade, Kidtacular activities, Ecotacular and a concert all in Wolfe Park on Saturday. On Sunday, the community celebrates Juneteenth. All weekend June 20-21, 2026.

FATHER’S DAY IDEA! Family Disc Golf

One of my kids’ favorite things to do with their dad is to play disc golf (also known as frisbee golf) and it makes him pretty happy to share his enthusiasm for the sport with the kids. Over in the Twin Cities Southwest Metro you can play on the course at Hyland Hills Ski Area. Cost is $8 pass.
