6/27/18-7/4/18: Apple Valley Freedom Days | Family highlights: On the 4th, catch the Freedom Days Parade & pre-fireworks family party, Johnny Cake Ridge Park

6/29/18-7/1/18: Hudson Booster Days | Lakefront Park, Hudson WI | Family highlights: Parade, kids pedal tractor pull, live entertainment, magician and fireworks at dusk

7/2/18-7/4/18: Coon Rapids 4th of July | Coon Rapids Ice Center | Family highlights: Parade & fireworks.

7/11/18-7/15/18: Karl Oskar Days | Lindstrom | Family highlights: Celebrate Swedish heritage with a family bingo night, outdoor screening of Inside Out, live music, a parade, craft fair and fireworks.

7/12/18-7/15/18: Whiz Bang Days | Robbinsdale | Family highlights: Free ice cream, face painting, music and safety vehicle fair, parade & fireworks.

7/13/18-7/14/18: Andover Family Fun Fest | Family highlights: Look for the Zoomobile, Kidzart, magic & juggling shows, and donkey-pulled wagon rides. 

7/13/18-7/15/18: Duk Duk Daze | Northwood Park, New Hope | Family highlights: Kids parade and carnival, live animals with Three Rivers Parks.

7/14/18: Anoka Riverfest | 9am-5pm | Family highlights: Sidewalk chalk and spin art for kids – FREE.

7/14/18-7/15/18: Dragon Festival | Lake Phalen Park, St Paul | Family highlights: Free Asian cultural performances, kids entertainment and dragon boat races on Lake Phalen.

7/17/18: Blaine Family Fun Night | Aquatore Park | Family highlights: FREE kids carnival games, safety vehicles on display, and inflatables.

7/18/18-7/21/18: Minneapolis Aquatennial | Family highlights: First, hit the Loring Park Family Fun Night. Then, onto the Torchlight Parade, performances by the Twin Cities River Rats and spectacular fireworks cap off the festival.

7/19/18-7/22/18: Excelsior Crazy Days Fair & Festival | Annual sidewalk sale featuring bouncy houses, fun activities.  Saturday is Kids Day, 9am-3pm. 

7/20/18: Summer Splash | Zanewood Recreation Center, Brooklyn Park | 5:30-7:30pm

7/20/18-7/21/18: Spirit of the Lakes Festival | Surfside Park & Beach, Mound | Family highlights: Kids activities in the park both days, Lake Minnetonka historic boat tours FREE with festival button, and fireworks at dusk.

7/20/18-7/21/18: Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games | NEW 2018 LOCATION: Eagan Central Park | Family highlights: Arts and crafts, music, story telling and children’s heavy game activities such as the Caber Toss, Sheep Toss, Haggis Hurl, and Stone Toss (come prepared for the park’s splash pad).

7/20/18-7/21/18: Lowertown Blues Fest | Mears Park, St Paul

7/20/18-7/22/18: Highland Fest | St Paul | Family highlights: ArtStart activities, live music and your chance to climb the Highland Park water tower (9am-5pm)!

7/20/18-7/22/18: Wannigan Days | Taylors Falls/St Croix Falls | Family highlights: Kids parade through Taylors Falls.

7/20/18-7/22/18: Lumberjack Days | Downtown Stillwater | Family highlights: Daily lumberjack shows, kids activities and K-9 shows, children’s entertainment in Teddy Bear Park and the parade.

7/20/18-7/29/18: Rosemount Leprechaun Days | Central Park, Rosemount | Family highlights: Midsummer Faire in Central Park, and the Grand Day Parade; Thursday is Family Fun Night.

7/21/18: International Festival of Burnsville | Nicollet Commons Park | Family highlights: FREE balloon twisting, family crafts and origami (3-7pm) plus other activities for a small fee and cultural entertainment.

7/26/18-7/29/18: Crystal Frolics | Family highlights: Family Festival with kids scavenger hunt, Kidsdance DJ, and an interactive nature van.

7/27/18-7/29/18: Slice of Shoreview Days | Island Lake County Park | Family highlights: Parade, plus lots of FREE kids activities – chalk art, slip’n slide & climbing wall.

7/28/18-7/29/18: Loring Park Art Festival  | Loring Park, Minneapolis | Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 10am-5pm | Family highlights: 140 artists, interactive art, family events, food, music and unique entertainment around the walking paths and duck ponds of Loring Park—an idyllic setting for an outdoor art festival.
