Schubert Club Music Museum

FamilyJam is a new free program for kids and families at the Schubert Club Music Museum in St. Paul's Landmark Center which comprises short 25-30 minute concerts followed by Music Museum activities, including hands-on instrument playing, instrument demonstrations and musician meet and greets. All FamilyJam concerts and Music Museum admission are free. Registration is required.

Campfire Program: Bugs!

Lake Elmo Park Reserve, 1515 Keats Avenue North, Lake Elmo, MN 55042
All are invited, registered campers and visitors alike, to a campfire program hosted by Bruce the Bug Guy. If you like bugs, this show is for you! There is bench seating; you’re welcome to bring camp chairs or blankets. Also in the park are two playgrounds near picnic areas if you’d like to make an evening of it. May 25, 2024, 7-8pm. $7 vehicle permit required.
MORE AT LAKE ELMO PARK RESERVE: In June, the sand-bottomed swim pond at the park will open. We rate this among the best beaches in the Twin Cities to bring kids!

Swimming season: Beaches, pools, waterparks & splash pads opening Memorial Day Weekend 2024

Why not while away the holiday weekend at the beach? Many in the Minneapolis & St Paul metro are open for FREE swimming, splashing and all-around FUN starting Memorial Day Weekend. RAMSEY COUNTY BEACHES – Northeast Metro

Ramsey County beaches are open sunrise to sunset (park hours). Lifeguards on duty 12-8pm starting early June. Find more information on the Ramsey County beaches information page.

Lake Johanna is one of the best beach beaches in the Twin Cities for kids!

WASHINGTON COUNTY BEACHES

Washington County Beaches are open 9am-8pm. A $7 vehicle permit is required w/ the exception of Point Douglas Beach. Each first Tuesday of the month is FREE entry day!

Cirque Italia Water Circus

Maplewood Mall, 3001 White Bear Ave N, Maplewood, MN 55109
Under the big top, four days only, it’s a unique circus featuring exciting live acts performed over a stage of water. Rain, fountain and bubble effects add to the aquatic theme. May 23-26, 2024. Saturday shows at 1:30, 4:30 & 7:30pm. Sunday shows at 1:30 & 4:30pm. Tickets $15-$55.
