COON RAPIDS: Tree Lighting Festival
Boulevard Plaza, 11000 Crooked Lake Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433
Bundle up to celebrate the lighting of Coon Rapids’ community tree. Enjoy signing and bonfires. Both food shelf and toy donations will be accepted. Holiday tree lighting countdown and fireworks at 5:30pm. December 9, 2023, 3:30-6pm.
GOLDEN VALLEY: Storytime with Sprinkles the Elf

A special visit from a special elf for kids ages 3-9 – elfin storytime, letter writing, holiday singalong and the best reindeer games. Must pre-register. December 9, 2023, 10am. $15-$18/pp.

The grounds of Hilde Performance Center are lit with holiday lights starting December 2 for the public to view at their own leisure.
Create your own holiday lights driving tour in the Twin Cities Northwest Metro! We’ve put together a dazzling list of the area’s stand-out light shows. Here’s just a glimpse of what’s in store:
- ANDOVER: Cairl Family Christmas Lights, 2342 145th Avenue NW. Starts at 5:30pm.
- COON RAPIDS: Hope Lights – A Christmas Display, 12401 Partridge St NW. Starts at 5pm.
- PLYMOUTH: Plymouth Lights – Christmas at the Fischer’s Place. 16700 33rd Ave N. Starts at 5:30pm.
- ROGERS: Lights on Jackie Lane. 19700 Jackie Lane. The show contains over 15 songs with a great mix of holiday classics and upbeat tracks.
Find Santa this weekend in the Twin Cities Northwest Metro
The cities of Crystal, New Hope & Robbinsdale have banded together this year to present the Santa Parade through town. The parade prominently features Santa and Mrs. Claus, elves, the Grinch and Cindy-Lou Who plus city police and firetrucks. December 9, 2023, starting at 5pm in Robbinsdale.
COON RAPIDS: SantaFest at Riverdale Village
