festival ferris wheel

Though we’re typically modest Minnesotans, the Twin Cities doesn’t shy away from its fairs and festivals. We’ve got hundreds of options for Minnesota Festivals & Fairs to attend all year long.

We celebrate our communities and traditions all year round. From Winter Carnival in January, to the legendary Minnesota State Fair in August, to the Holidazzle Festival in December, we love to get outside and explore this awesome state. Browse our monthly listings to find old favorites and new ideas.

Featured Partner: Music Together in the Valley

Exciting online music and movement classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, K-2nd graders—and the grownups who love them! Completely online in fall 2020, our renowned music education program is coming to you right in the comfort of your very own home.

Music Together Online is a research-based program designed to teach the way young children learn: through play.

Free demonstration classes anytime. Register at under “Demos.” Fall session is underway but you can join anytime and we prorate when you register late. Tuition is $189 for the first registered child in a family and an additional $104 for the second child. Infant siblings under 8 months attend at no cost.

It’s safe, convenient, engaging, effective, stress relieving, connection building and totally fun.

Please note: Due to the disruption of the COVID-19 virus, many of these upcoming events may be cancelled or postponed. Please check the event’s official website for the latest updates. Note that Festivals and Fairs will be under the same guidelines as the rest of the state regarding gatherings during current mandated restrictions. Thanks for reading and happy planning!
