Twin Cities Festivals & Fairs – A Year-Round Minnesota Family Guide

fairs and festivals ferris wheel

Though we’re typically modest Minnesotans, the Twin Cities doesn’t shy away from its fairs and festivals. We’ve got hundreds of options for Minnesota Festivals & Fairs to attend all year long.

We celebrate our communities and traditions all year round. From Winter Carnival in January, to the legendary Minnesota State Fair in August, to the Holiday festivals in December, we love to get outside and explore this awesome state. Browse our master list of monthly Twin Cities festivals and fairs to find old favorites and new ideas to add to your own calendar. Most of the events on this calendar have free admission; when they don’t, we highlight ticket prices. You will find more details about individual events in our monthly Twin Cities festival articles.

I was told there is a street dance in Forest Lake, MN on Saturday, July15th. The band,
The Shag has it on their calendar from 8pm – 11pm. I cannot find any information on this event.

      1. Hi Linda. I don’t see anything on the City of Forest Lake’s website. It is likely hosted by a local business and probably not kid-friendly. You may need to contact the band directly for more details.
