Forecast: Gorgeous fall weekends ahead to hit one of these Twin Cities pumpkin patches before Halloween! And even if you’re not in the market for a jack-o-lantern, these patches are crammed full of fall fun from corn mazes and farm animals to hayrides and train rides. Check out the list below. MINNEAPOLIS PUMPKIN PATCHes
Location: 5426 12th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55417 (corner of 11th Ave S & E 54th St)
Hours: 11 am – 7 pm daily, October 12-31, 2021.
Admission/Discounts: Free Admission; 2021 Pumpkin prices TBA.
What’s picking: Over 200 pre-picked pumpkins on the lawn.
Other activities: Warm cider, lawn games, crafts, autumn scavenger hunt and family-photo mini session.
NORTH METRO PUMPKIN PATCHES
Location: 28186 Kettle River Blvd., Wyoming, MN
Hours: Open weekdays noon – 6pm, weekends 10am – 6pm starting mid-September in 2021.
Admission/Discounts: 2021 Season Passes Available now $30/pp before September 18th; Regularly $34/pp.
2021 Daily Admission $9-$17 (save by pre-purchasing online): The fee covers the majority of attractions offered at the farm; there are a few nominal exceptions.
What’s picking: Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick-your-own. The setting is especially beautiful when the fall colors are at peak.
Other activities: Included in admission to Pinehaven Farm are a bundle of fun fall activities: playground equipment, mazes, all-terrain trikes, a petting farm, wagon rides and special events on select weekends. Location: 2575 Andover Blvd, Andover, MN
Hours: Mon-Thurs 4 – 7pm, Fri 3-7pm, weekends & MEA 10am – 6pm starting late September through Halloween.
Admission: $4/pp includes a hayride, kids corn maze and self-guided tour of the farm.
What’s picking: Pumpkins and squash
Other activities: Hayrides run at 4, 5 & 6pm on weekdays and run continuously from 10:30am until close on weekends. Exploring the farm and its many inhabitants is a highlight — llamas, alpacas, goats, pot-bellied pigs and more. A lovely picnic shelter is available whether you bring your own food or purchase concessions at the farm.
Location: 6903 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, MN
Hours: Opening mid-September through Halloween – 9 am to dusk 7 days a week
Admission: Free admission – PYO pumpkins are $4/ea in a 40 acre field

Location: 450 Apple Orchard Rd, White Bear Lake, MN
Hours: Open weekends in October, 11am-5pm; Opens Wed-Fri Oct 7th, 1-5pm
Admission: No charge to enter the orchard; there is a cost for the fall activities.

Hours: Open daily, 10am-dusk. Late September through Halloween
What’s picking: Pick-your-own pumpkin and carry it out, $3.99 any size.
Other activities: Families can explore the corn maze, and there’s a hay bale maze for the youngest.
Location: 125 Bunker Blvd., Ham Lake, MN
Hours: 10am-6pm weekends, weekdays 4-7pm. MEA Hours. September 25-October 31, 2021.
Admission: $5/pp with many fun fall activities included in the price. Cash only, no checks or credit cards accepted at the farm.
What’s picking: Pumpkins and other produce available for purchase.
Other activities: Paid activities include hayrides, pedal tractors, a play area and lots more. Concessions are also available weekends.
EAST METRO PUMPKIN PATCHES
Location: 14421 S. 90th St., Hastings, MN
Hours: Season starts in Late September, Open daily 10am – 6pm.
Admission: $5/pp ages 5+, $4/pp under age 4. Includes hay rides when available, use of play equipment and petting farm.
What’s picking: Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick-your-own starting in late September and running through the month of October. Call (651) 436-8385 to check the status of picking.
Other activities: Afton’s 15-acre corn maze ($10/ages 11+, $8/ages 2-10). The maze is divided into three progressively challenging phases. 3 additional mazes are included in admission. We haven’t tried the corn maze, but my kids love the tire hill and the play structure.
Location: 11211 N 60th St, Lake Elmo, MN
Hours: Open weekdays 9am – 7pm, weekends 9am – 6pm. Activities are up and running Saturdays 10am – 5pm, Sundays 11am – 5pm starting late Septembers.
Admission: Free, with a charge for all fall activities with the exception of the petting farm and outdoor display photo ops.
What’s picking: Pumpkins, though you don’t choose them from the field.
Other activities: Play in a giant corn pit outfitted with buckets, slides and toys ($3), bounce house ($3), Silly String Zone ($3), make your way through the corn maze ($4), enjoy the fall scenery on a hay ride ($5), pan for gems ($6-$20).

West METRO PUMPKIN PATCHES
Location: 9100 Eden Prairie Road, Eden Prairie, MN
Hours: Open daily 11am-7pm, July – November.
Admission: Free admission; pumpkins range from $1-$12 apiece.
What’s picking: The perfect pumpkin, along with fresh fall produce.
Other activities: Pumpkin bounce house, mini corn maze, and haunted house for the littlest ones.
SOUTH METRO PUMPKIN PATCHES
Location: 5716 W. 280th St., New Prague, MN
Hours: Open daily September through Halloween, 9am to 7 pm
Admission: Free admission, thousands of pumpkins are $1 to $6
What’s picking: Pumpkins of every shape and size (pre-picked) most priced at $2-$6.
Other activities: This year, enjoy photo ops in the pumpkin patch and free entertainment such as live music and hayrides most weekends in October.
Location: 6885 160th St, Apple Valley,MN
Hours: Market is open daily starting at 9am to shop for pumpkins (when in season)
Other activities: The annual Fall Festival takes place late September. $5 covers activities such as a pallet maze, corn pit, storytime and face painting, but if you spend $25, the kids play free.
Location: 12860 Old Brickyard Road, Shakopee, MN
Hours: Open weekdays 11am – 6:30pm, weekends 9am – 6:30pm
What’s picking: Free hayrides (weekends) to pick-your-own pumpkins from the field.
Other activities: Enjoy the working farm and work your way through the corn maze.

Admission/Discount: $19.79/per person for festival including tax and online fee, $0.49/lb pumpkins (no admission needed for pumpkin patch).
What’s picking: Pick-your-own pumpkins at Sever’s Fall Festival.
Other activities: Sever’s Corn Maze is well-known for its extensive menu of activities featuring their corn maze, corn pits, and exotic petting zoo.
