    With national chain restaurants, we highly recommend that you call your favorite location before  visiting. Individual restaurants can have slight differences in their promotional offerings or choose not to offer the deal at all.

    Tuesday Kids Meal Deals At National Chains

    Tuesday tends to be the best day of the week for kids-eat-free and other family meal deals, especially at national chains. Look for these deals, but because many of these are franchises, we recommend calling ahead to make certain your location participates:

    • Chilis – Tuesdays: 99¢ kid’s meal per adult entrée purchased.  

    Tip: sign up for Chilis’ email Rewards Program to get any-time coupons for free any-time kids meal. These coupons land in email regularly for chili’s rewards members.

    Kids Menu: Pepper Pals Kids Menu entrées usually range from $5.25-$5.75 and include a side and a drink. Kids can also order dessert for $2.49.

    Kids Eat Free or Cheap Every Day At These National Restaurants

    • Boston Market

    Daily: While Boston Market doesn’t offer a specific Kids-Eat-Free Deal, they do offer a daily family dinner special in the form of their Family Meals ranging from $20-$40 depending on the number of servings. They also offer lemon slices for water. Because my goal, with Kids Eat Free deals is to feed my family of six for $40 or less, this amounts to pretty much the same thing. These work great when you have kids with tiny appetites. (Verified 8/9/21)

    • Culvers

    Daily: Kids 12 & under receive 1 free frozen custard per kids meal purchase. (Verified 8/9/21)

    • Holiday Inn

    Daily: Kids 12 & under receive 1 free meal with adult purchase. According to my phone call with the St. Paul Holiday Inn, any Holiday Inn with an attached restaurant offers Kids-Eat-Free to their diners. You do need to be a guest of the hotel to get this deal, but not all hotels have attached restaurants. (Verified 10/31/2019)

    • International House of Pancakes (IHOP) 

    Kids eat free everyday from 4-10 pm., but not at every location all the time. Call your favorite location to verify.
    Other Good Family Deals: $5 Hoppy Hour Every Day 2pm-10pm – $5 Menu. There are also $3 menu items that would easily fill a toddler.
    Twin Cities Locations: Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Coon Rapids.

    National Chains - Owner Discretion

    • Applebee’s Meal Deals for Kids

    Applebee’s allows its individual restaurants to determine kids deals. There are many locations in the Twin Cities. I’ve not yet come across any local Kids Eat Free Applebee’s deals, but haven’t visited them all. Drop us a line if you know of one, so we can share with the community.

    My personal opinion is that Applebee’s is not the best deal for family dining, the kids meals are expensive (over $6.50) and are low quality (boxed mac & cheese).  Again, we would really love to hear your tips for dining with kids at Applebee’s.

        I called the Old Country Buffet in Burnsville (the one we list) and they are still open and still offer the same Thursday night deal. I know some others have gone out of business recently. We will verify these deals and add an updated verification date to the various entries.

      I know that at the Lakeville Green Mill we often go for Sunday Buffet. Most of the time they let our kids eat free…once they did charge us. They said it was for kids 4 and up. I told them we had a 4 year old but they only charged us for the 6 year old. I can’t remember how much maybe $6?
