Halloween Drive Thru

A Drive Thru Halloween is a perfect option for families who want to play it safe and still make the holiday fun.  There are free events and events for a small fee. Usually the fee covers the whole car with a few exceptions.

Free Drive Thru Events

Oct 27, 2020: Trunk or Treat Drive Thru | Hazel Park, St Paul
Vehicle line starts at Case Avenue. Families drive up to each table in their vehicle to receive candy. No walkers or cyclists. No Registration Required.  6pm-7:30pm.

Oct 30, 2020: East Area Halloween Drive Thru | Battle Creek Rec Center, St Paul
Socially-distanced drive thru for treats, interactive games and car photo booth. Masks required when windows open. No Registration Required.  6:30pm-8pm.

Oct 31, 2020: Bloomington City-Wide Drive-Thru BOO | Northwestern Health Sciences University
During this drive-through event, kids preschool-aged to grade 4 will enjoy costumed characters, Halloween-themed booths, candy and more. 3:30-5:30pm.

Oct 31, 2020: Anoka Grande Day Parade – Drive By | Anoka
This year, families will “parade” by several decorated locations to enjoy from the safety of their cars. 11-3pm.

Drive Thru Events with a Fee

Oct 28, 2020: HALLOBOO Drive Thru | Rosland Park, Edina
A Spooktacular alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating. Put on your costumes, decorate your cars and finish with entertainment by DJ Bob at the park shelter. Each registered participant will receive treat bags along the route. 5-7pm (Register for a specific start time), $10/child.

Oct 28-30, 2020: Soapy Joe’s Spooktacular Suds Halloween Drive Thru | 1340 W 7th St, St. Paul
Load up your family and take a drive through Soapy Joe’s Car Wash. The costumed Soapy Joe’s team will bring the bubbles and the boos during this unforgettable Halloween experience. Plus –  candy at the end! Please bring a bag of non-perishable food items to receive a coupon for a free future car wash at Soapy Joe’s. All donations will benefit the Neighborhood House – Francis Basket program. 6-9 pm, car washes start at $7.99

Oct 29, 2020Drive Thru Trunk or Treat | Mall of America, Bloomington 
Proceeds support the American Cancer Society. Over 20 decorated trunks will line the MOA North Lot. Cars drive-thru the event and pick up candy at each trunk! Wear costumes; there is a  free professional photo booth. 5-8pm (Purchase Tickets here), $10/car.

Oct 30, 2020: Halloween Fest On The Go | Lac Lavon, Burnsville
Family-friendly event includes a drive-thru illuminated trick-or-treat trail. Space is limited – Register early. 5:30-8:30pm, $10/vehicle.

Oct 31, 2020: Boo Drive-Thru | Miller Park, Eden Prairie
Drive through for costumed characters, car-window trick-or-treating, games, prizes; or park and do a spooky story stroll. 1pm-5pm, Register for your time slot. $4.65/vehicle (max 4 trick or treaters; no oversized vehicles)

SPLURGE!!! Weekends in October: Deadly Drive In | Rosedale Mall, Roseville
Enjoy 30 minutes of intense Halloween scares from the comfort of your own car. This event is not recommended for kids under the age of 14.   6:30pm-10pm.  Register for your time slot.  $85/vehicle  (up to 6 people, no convertibles allowed)
