dncbarn2013Dodge Nature Center is a place that I personally still need to get to.  I’m not sure why I haven’t gotten there yet, but their Halloween Extravaganza sounds like a shouldn’t-be-missed event to try out!

When is it happening?  Friday, October 25, 2013.  The family-friendly portion of Dodge Nature Center’s Extravaganza is taking place from 5:30 pm-9:30 pm, and the Scary Trail will be open from 7:00 pm-10:00 pm.

How much does it cost?  $9 for non-members and $6 for members–both adults and children.  Anyone age 2 or under is free.

Where is Dodge Nature Center’s Halloween Extravaganza taking place?  Dodge Nature Center, 1701 Charlton Street, West St. Paul

What is going down at the Halloween Extravaganza?  Hiking trick or treat trail, face painting, DJ, wagon rides, storytelling, and nature programs.

What’s the Scary Trail?  Walk along the ghostly pond and haunted prairie.  This is definitely not family (nor Gianna)-friendly.

This is another fun thing to do around the Twin Cities this Halloween and if you are in the area, go check it out!  It sounds like a great time and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
