Twin Cities malls and shopping districts are offering kids the chance to trick-or-treat at participating merchants. Some locations will also offer other not-so-spooky entertainment for little ghouls and goblins to enjoy!
New to the Twin Cities? While in some areas of the country, municipalities set official trick-or-treat hours, Minnesota cities do not do this. Trick or treating is more of a spontaneous community event. Turn on your porch light if you want to participate. Expect kids to start showing up any time after school on October 31st and go until you turn off your lights. Neighborhoods vary in participation.
Some parents, especially those with younger children, prefer the set times and safety that businesses offer with their alternative trick-or-treat options. We have those listed here.
