Trick-or-Treat at Twin Cities Shopping Malls & Centers 2023

Twin Cities malls and shopping districts traditionally offer kids the chance to trick-or-treat at participating merchants. Some locations will also offer other not-so-spooky entertainment for little ghouls and goblins to enjoy! All events listed are FREE to attend.

New to the Twin Cities? While in some areas of the country, municipalities set official trick-or-treat hours, Minnesota cities do not do this. Trick or treating is more of a spontaneous community event. Turn on your porch light if you want to participate. Expect kids to start showing up any time after school on October 31st and go until you turn off your lights. Neighborhoods vary in participation.

Some parents, especially those with younger children, prefer the set times and safety that businesses offer with their alternative trick-or-treat options. We have those listed here.

This is it, Twin Cities. We have come to the last of our Halloween posts. Over the past few weeks we’ve traveled through pumpkin patches and corn mazes, detailed not-so-spooky options around the Metro, and talked treats. You’re likely as ready to stop reading about Halloween as we are ready to stop writing about it. Until 2024!

    1. Thanks for catching that Brenda. 13th Avenue Trick or Treat is Sunday, October 30th in 2022. We’ve made the edit.

  1. shopping mall near me

I am olive 25 years old. I was looking a product in online that was very important to me but I didn’t find anyway. Fortunately, I got your website and get information about my product. I am using this product. Your shopping mall is near to me as an information store. Thanks a lot and pray as if your website goes to peak in the world.

    1. Thanks for your kind and somewhat confusing comments , Olive. I’m glad you were able to find Halloween candy at a mall in March. Which mall was still carrying it?
