Free Halloween Events In the Twin Cities – 2020

Where do you go for free Halloween fun around the Twin Cities when you want just a bit of a tingle up your spine? There is really no shortage of events — even this year. In fact, the Twin Cities’ own city of Anoka has held the title of Halloween Capital of the World since 1937 although they claim 1920 and are celebrating a centennial this year.

For our monster list of fee-based Halloween activities, jump over to our Plan Ahead Halloween Events. Many of these fun Halloween activities require pre-registration or tickets purchased in advance, so we get it out there so you can plan ahead.

If you are peaking ahead in early September, note that we expect some of these events might cancel, while others will be added later. You know the 2020 drill by now. Follow the links to get the most up-to-date information.

Today’s offering is: If you loved Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brink, then try Alice-all-by-herself, by Elizabeth Jane Coatsworth!
