While there is tons of free Halloween fun in the Twin Cities, some events are worth paying for and may even be a good excuse for a road trip. Here we have gathered special family Halloween activities organized by regions of the Twin Cities metro area. All of these events require a fee and some require registration.

Valleyfair's Tricks and Treats is a gotta-be-there Halloween event packed with fun and family-friendly eeriness.
From little goblins to grown-up ghouls, everyone will find ghastly great things to do for Halloween. Plus, we’ve got skeleTONS of delicious seasonal treats, drinks and, of course, candy!

Trick-or-treat in the galleries, enjoy other themed activities, including a DJ dance party, games and play in the museum’s super fun exhibits. Admission includes a trick-or-treat bag and a night of not-so-scary Halloween fun as well as access to the museum galleries. 6-9pm. $20/pp.

International Owl Center | Houston 
Owl Prowls are after dark guided searches for owls. Expect the event to last 3 hours. Participants drive their own vehicles to different locations. Note: Children are welcome, but must be able to stand quietly for at least 10 minutes at a time.  5:30pm, $15/person.
