ANIMAL SUMMER CAMPS IN MINNEAPOLIS & SAINT PAUL

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory Camps

Como Zoo’s summer camps are back for kids in Pre-K through 6th grade. $205-$390 with extended care options available. 

The Raptor Center Camps

Location: University of Minnesota Raptor Center, 1920 Fitch Avenue, St Paul, MN, 55108

Summer raptor camps are run by the University of Minnesota’s Rec & Wellness Camps and also include activities like swimming & crafts. A number of partnership camps that offer programming with birds from the Raptor Center can also be found through RECWELL. Ages 6-15.  $409-$449.

Animal Humane Society Camps

AHS Camps are known to fill quickly. Each summer camp session includes animal-related educational activities, games, crafts, guest speakers, animal interactions, and more! Whole-day and half-day summer camp runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM for kids entering grades 3-8.  $410

Minnesota Zoo Summer Camps

Minnesota Zoo offers dozens of summer camps for animal-lovers of all ages. Limited space. Camp costs start at $180.

The Canine Coach Dog Camps for Kids

Date: 06/22/2026 - 08/20/2026
Location: The Canine Coach, 1700 Marthaler Lane, West St. Paul, MN, 55118
Hands on dog obedience and safety camp for ages 8-13 (or 5-7 with parent). Camp runs Mon – Thurs, 10am-1pm. Kids should bring a snack/lunch. Registration is by child, not dog at a cost of $375.

Bunker Park Stables Camps

Bunker Park Stable offers comprehensive horse riding camps with lots of riding time. 2-day to 5-day camps available for ages 4-17. Hurry, these camps fill fast. $145-$725.

Sunnyside Stables Camps

Each day includes riding — rain or shine. Campers will learn the basics of grooming, saddling, body language, posture, contact and balance to develop independent riding skills for ages 6-13. $475

Golden Ridge Stables Camp

Golden Ridge Stables’ Horse Mania Summer Camp in Lakeville offers a wonderful “hands and seat on” day camp. Register soon as each 4-day session is limited and fills fast. Pony camp option as well. $265-$450.

Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center Camps

Date: 06/15/2026 - 08/07/2026
Location: Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center, 54165 Audubon Drive, Sandstone, MN, 55072

Osprey Wilds day camps run in 3, 4 or 5-day sessions for grades K-8. Nature art, farm, outdoor adventure, fishing, animal enrichment camps and more are all options. A 4-night overnight camp serves grades 7-9. Some camps are pay-what-you-can starting at $50. Suggested: $300-$800.
