Twin Cities Birthday Parties for Kids: Party in the Park

Don’t discount your local community center, nature center or park! Should your kid be blessed with a birthday month that begs for some outdoor fun most options are very reasonable price-wise. Most have reservable, covered spaces to gather for gift openings and goodies, and often kids are perfectly entertained with playground equipment. If a little more direction or theme is desired, nature centers offer naturalist-led programs during birthday parties and options for organized indoor/outdoor activities.

Thanks so much to Lynn’s Cake and Candy Supplies for sponsoring the 2019 Birthday Party Guide in the Twin Cities.

Lynn’s Cake and Candy Supply | Fridley
This is our favorite place to get all our birthday cake supplies. They know what they are doing and have helped me through a more than one tragedy. Lynn’s offers
the perfect party for any skill level. This is a fun environment where each participant will learn how to fill a cupcake with delicious filling, then learn some fun decorating techniques with a piping bag and tip.  Wait until you see their faces when they learn how to pipe out 3 colors at once! The group will then use those new skills to decorate their very own 4 cupcakes with our buttercream frosting. Each attendee will leave with their 4 cupcakes safely stored in a clear plastic container and the excitement to do more at home!
Limited to 8 participants, $20/child (excluding the adult chaperone). $50 deposit required. Parties are 60-75 minutes; please schedule your party at least 3 weeks in advance.

COMMUNITY CENTERS
