M Health Fairview Sports Center (f/ka HealthEast Sports Center, f/k/a Bielenberg Sports Center) is a multi-use sports centers with indoor and outdoor facilities. Amenities include a 90,000-square-foot indoor field house, two indoor ice arenas, an outdoor ice skating rink, 36 outdoor athletic fields, a splash pad, and Twin Cities East Metro’s first completely handicapped accessible inclusive playground. Public restrooms are available during day hours. The recent name changes are part of a sponsorship agreement. Madison’s Place is an outdoor all-inclusive playground. The playground equipment has been created to be wheel-chair accessible and to appeal to children of all abilities. Also outdoors, a summer splash pad is open (weather permitting) from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. This water play area is free and consists of two platforms to accommodate multiple ages. The larger platform, which is more appropriate for older kids, includes dumping buckets, flower showers and spray nozzles. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The sports center has space available to rent for birthday parties. Prices start depend on the space rented. Set up by an event attendant can be added on for an additional price. Twin Cities Birthday Parties for Kids: Party in the Park. The sports center offers open times for practicing various sports. Skate rental and skate sharpening are available. Schedules are subject to change. Find current schedules online or sign up for their email updates. The facility maintains a refrigerated outdoor rink beginning in late November through mid-February as weather permits.
