Twin Cities Southeast Metro summer festivals: June

West St Paul Days

First off, there will be plenty of city-wide garage sales and a medallion hunt starting Thursday. Then, plan for Friday night fireworks, a Saturday parade, concerts, community bike ride and lots of free stuff. Many, but not all events take place at the West St Paul Sports Complex. Cottage Grove Strawberry Fest

Burnsville Juneteenth Celebration

Burnsville’s Juneteenth celebration includes music, dancing, crafts, food trucks, and henna. FREE. Drop In. All Ages.

Rosemount ArtBlast

Rosemount ArtBlast is a full week of art, including plenty of free, family-friendly activities around Rosemount. Most of the kid-friendly entertainment takes place in Central Park, including a Story Trail, family concerts and art activities for kids. Visit the Puppet Wagon at various Rosemount Parks on Friday. Farmington Top the Tater Days

Formerly Dew Days because of Farmington’s love of Mountain Dew, this annual festival is now sponsored by Kemps, thus the name change. Expect fun family activities like a big rig fair, storytime in the park, kids concerts, big wheel races, and the list goes on. See link for the full schedule! 

South St Paul Kaposia Days

Afton Strawberry Festival

Apple Valley Freedom Days

Apple Valley’s annual Independence Day celebration is free to attend. Family fun at the festival incudes free fishing with Apple Valley police on Wednesday, Cub Foods Family Fun Night on Friday and the Freedom Days Parade & fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Eagan's July 4th Funfest

Eagan’s July 4th Funfest is a multi-day celebration featuring a carnival, parade, kids bike parade, entertainment, activities and fireworks.

Lakeville Pan-o-Prog Festival

This family-friendly summer festival starts out with 4th of July fireworks and continues through the week with family-friendly events such as a family picnic with puppets, fire truck display and touch-a-truck event, music in the park and a kids pedal tractor pull, a carnival, two parades (kiddie & grand), and a family tailgate party. Sweet treat alert: the festival’s free ice cream social is July 8 this year.

Afton 4th of July Parade & Celebration

This annual Afton 4th of July Celebration on Main Street includes food, drinks, music trolley rides and parade at 1pm.

Hastings Rivertown Days

Rosemount Leprechaun Days

Burnsville International Festival

A special International Festival of Burnsville edition of Party on the Plaza that includes live music, food trucks, games, market vendors. Do NOT forget swimsuits for the kids because you’ll hardly be able to hold them back once they see the beautiful water feature in the park.

Mendota Heights Fest

Mendota Heights’ community festival spans two days with most events held at Mendakota Park, including a food truck festival on Friday night and a Splay & Play Party on Saturday.

Newport Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day is Newport’s summer festival! A fun Saturday includes the parade followed by live music and entertainment.  

St. Paul Park Heritage Days Festival

St Paul Park’s summer festival includes a Grande Day Parade, a Kids Zone filled with games and a petting zoo and a fireworks display. Festival runs August 15-17, 2025.

Woodbury Days
