Located in Little Canada and serviced by Ramsey County, Lake Gervais County Park has family-friendly amenities that include an unguarded beach, a picnic area (but no shelters), and a playground. Visitors can fish from the pier or the shoreline. This park has restroom facilities in the summer months and is closed during the winter. This park hosts one of Ramsey County Park System’s three unguarded beaches. Beach hours are the same as park hours — 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes past sunset. Buoys designating the swim areas are out from approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day and swimming is allowed only in the swim areas. According to the DNR, the lake has the following fish species: Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Hybrid Muskie, Bullhead, and Yellow Perch.
