The Maplewood portion of Battle Creek Regional Park is home to Battle Creek Waterpark, a playground and a dog park. St Paul Parks & Recreation manages the St Paul side of Battle Creek Park.
Battle Creek Waterpark
Battle Creek Waterpark is geared toward families with children 10 and under. There is a shallow water pool with interactive water play equipment and a separate activity pool with lily pad walk and swim area. For the grade school kids, there is a three story twisting waterslide with plunge area.
Battle Creek Regional Park Playground
The main playground at Battle Creek was completely rebuilt in 2020 and has a nature theme Equipment includes swirly slides, a zip line, a swing set, a fort building area, logs to balance on and a play stream. The play area is located near Battle Creek Waterworks waterpark.
Battle Creek Dog Park
This pet-friendly park houses one of Ramsey County’s off-leash dog parks. Unlike some municipal dog parks, the Ramsey County parks do not appear to require an additional license to use the area. Your dog does need to be licensed and vaccinated though.
