Winter festivals this weekend in the Twin Cities Northwest Metro
Winter festivals in Minnesota have begun to melt away already (even earlier than usual, we regret to remind you). But there are still a few happenings in communities north of Minneapolis & St Paul this weekend on our radar:
BROOKLYN PARK Winterfest
8440 Regent Avenue N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55429
Winterfest activities will mostly be indoors this weekend – free indoor ice skating, BINGO, a touch-a-truck opportunity, hot cocoa and smores. The fun will go on! February 10, 2024. 1-3pm, FREE.
RAMSEYÂ Frost Fest
Central Park, 161st Avenue, Ramsey MN
Winter activities planned (that likely will not go through) sound super fun – a snow luge, snow maze and luminary ice skate. What may go on is the chili cook-off in the park – $5 to sample the entries. February 10, 2024, 12-6pm.

Free Family Fun Day at Mississippi Gateway Regional Park

Coon Rapids Snowflake Days Skate
Coon Rapids Ice Center, 11000 Crooked Lake Blvd, Coon Rapids MN
Part of the community’s annual winter festival, the ice skate was planned to be outdoors but will now take place inside. Free and open to the public. February 11, 2024, 5:30-7:30pm.
