You can scramble for eggs and treats and get your photo snapped with the Easter Bunny in every corner of the Twin Cities. Windom Park Bunny Party & Egg Hunt

Windom Park NE, 2251 Hayes Street N.E., Minneapolis, MN 55418
Windom Park hosts ages 7-12 with games, a bounce house, children’s egg hunt and more. (See Audubon Park for the little kids). April 8, 2023, 12-2pm. FREE EVENT. Learn more and register here.

Phalen Park Eggstravaganza

Phalen Recreation Center, 1000 E. Wheelock, Saint Paul, MN, 5510
Egg hunts by age for crawlers through 5th grade, crafts, spin art, field games, photographs with the Easter Bunny. FREE. All Ages. Pre-Registration will be available through Mosaic Church, but is not required. April 8, 2023, 10am-Noon.

Largest Egg Hunt in Blaine

Renovation Church, 12390 Fraizer St NE, Blaine, MN 55449
Attend one of EIGHT services and upon leaving the service, kids will be given a wristband to participate. Saturday, April 8th at 10:00, 11:30, 1:00, &; 2:30 and Sunday, April 9th at 8:00, 9:10, 10:20, & 11:30. There will be 60,000 eggs filled with candy, stickers, and prizes from donors. Three different age zones: 0-3, 4-6, 7-11. Pre-registration is highly recommended, but not required.

Maplewood Easter Egg Hunts

Edgerton Elementary School, 1929 Edgerton St, Maplewood, MN 55117
Kids ages 3-8 can choose between two hunts – 9:30am-10am or 10:30-11am. Kids 2 and under can receive a treat bag without the hunt. There will also be breakfast treats, a craft area and a visit from the Easter Bunny at this event.

Meet the Easter Bunny and take a picture. Play games and take home a treat. April 8, 2023, 1:30-3:30pm. FREE.

SOME FUN FAMILY IDEAS FOR THIS WEEKEND

Check out the links on our big list of Twin Cities nature & interpretive centers; all of these locations have outdoor trails to hike and fun, kid-friendly indoor exhibits. Did you know that several of these nature centers also have natural playgrounds nestled within them? You can build with natural materials, climb, balance, even wade and garden at some of the more elaborate spaces (pictured below the amazing DISCOVERY HOLLOW NATURE PLAYGROUND at Tamarack Nature Center). Saturday Morning on the Farm

Gale Woods Farm, 7210 County Rd 110 W, Minnetrista, MN 55364
This wonderful working farm is a great place for kids to get close and in barns (that’s my delighted daughter pictured). Read about a spring visit to the farm here. Spots will fill quickly. If you can’t make it to one of the farm tours, stop over for a self-guided walk around the grounds. Make and take with you a fiber craft. April 8, 2023, drop in between 9:30am-12pm. $6/pp.

Each Sunday explore living history – often the programs are held outside so dress for the weather. Enjoy hands-on activities and walk on the trails. April 8, 2023. Drop in from 1-4pm, FREE or suggested donation of $2/pp.

Nature Rocks! Eden Prairie Outdoor Center Open House

Free Family Fun Day with Three Rivers Parks

Join naturalists for free, drop-in and kid-friendly programming at MISSISSIPPI GATEWAY REGIONAL PARK (Brooklyn Park), EASTMAN NATURE CENTER (Maple Grove) and RICHARDSON NATURE CENTER (Bloomington). Explore the indoor exhibits while you’re at it. No reservations needed. April 9, 2023. 1-3pm. FREE.

Arts & crafts at North St Paul Library

2300 North St. Paul Drive, North St. Paul, Minnesota 55109
Two artsy events to choose from this Saturday: Earth Day Art Buffet with all craft materials supplied by the library (you bring the creative juice). 10:30am-noon. Maker Kids Take-and-Make garden butterfly kits available all day while supplies last. Both activities are free.
