Twin Cities Northwest Metro Beaches
oak grove lake george regional park
3100 217th Ave NW, Oak Grove, MN 55011
The swimming beach is located on the northwest curve of Lake George and is near a playground and picnic pavilions. $7 vehicle fee to enter Anoka County parks.
PLYMOUTH East Medicine Lake Park
1740 E Medicine Lake Blvd, Plymouth, MN 55441
Note there are no lifeguards at East Beach, see West Beach for lifeguard hours. Traditionally open Memorial Day weekend – August. 9am-8pm.
PLYMOUTH Parkers Lake Park Beach

There is a nearby playground and space to picnic.
PLYMOUTH West Medicine Lake Park
1920 W Medicine Lake Dr, Plymouth, MN 55441
Bring a picnic to grill, a volleyball to play and maybe your fishing gear. Traditionally open Memorial Day weekend – August. 9am-8pm.
Twin Cities Northwest Metro Pools & Waterparks

Anoka Aquatic Center
1551 7th Ave, Anoka, MN 55303
Fun features include big water slides and a smaller slide for kids under 42 inches tall, climbing wall, diving board and an Adventure Walk. Splash pad areas with zero depth entry includes a 75 gallon dump bucket and a water play structure with sprays and fountains. $6.50-$8.50/person.
coon rapids Bunker Beach Water Park
701 County Rd A, Coon Rapids, MN 55448
Minnesota’s largest outdoor water park entertains with a wave pool, waterslides, lazy river, splashy play areas and activity pools. It’s near the top of the priciest places to swim in the Twin Cities but there are promotions offered throughout the season. $16.25-$20.50/person plus $7/park vehicle fee.

crystal cove aquatic center
4800 Douglas Drive N, Crystal, MN 55429
Fully renovated in 2005, the aquatic park has a Jet Scream water-slide, zero depth pool, water-walk and drop slide. Besides the regular swim times below, the pool offers a preschool Little Splashers Pool-Time on Saturday mornings. $9-$11/person.
maple grove cove aquatic center
12951 Weaver Lake Road, Maple Grove, MN 55369
The outdoor water park portion of the Grove Cove Aquatic Center has a lazy river feature, tumble buckets, a log walk. It also has a tot slide and water sprays for the smaller kids. It should go without saying the outdoor half of the pool is open seasonally; indoors at the Maple Grove Community Center you can swim year-round. $7.75-$8.50/person.
new hope aquatic park

Includes a shallow water recreation area with body slides and a vortex pool, kiddie pool, fountain and playhouse structure, as well as lap lanes and a diving well. $13-$14/person.
Twin Cities Northwest Metro Splash Pads

CHAMPLIN Andrews Park
7200 117th Ave N, Champlin, MN 55316
Andrews Park’s large and playful splash pad has an onsite snack bar and restrooms. The pad closes for inclement weather and temps below 65 degrees. Open May through September.

COON RAPIDS Boulevard Plaza
11002 Crooked Lake Blvd, Coon Rapids, MN 55433
In the summer months, Coon Rapids Boulevard Plaza is a popular spot for drop-in family fun, with a splash pad and playground and space to picnic.
CRYSTAL BECKER Park
5530 Douglas Dr N, Crystal, MN 55429
The large, creative playground is what really stands out about this Northwest Metro park. The splash fountains are no-frills simple, but they’ll do the trick on a hot day.

DELANO Central Park
650 River Street N, Delano, MN 55328
Central Park in Delano is home to the city’s fancy splash pad. Before heading out, please note the admission fee: $5/person is charged (or season passes are available with tiered pricing based on residency). There is space to picnic and public restrooms available.
MAPLE GROVE Central Park
12000 Central Park Way, Maple Grove, MN 55369
The large city park contains interactive fountains that illuminate at night and an amazing playground – all free!

OTSEGO Prairie Park

Open Memorial Day through early September from sunrise to sunset, Prairie Park is one of Otsego’s community gathering spaces – and the splash pad is no exception.
RObbinsdale Manor Park
3129 Abbott Ave N, Robbinsdale, MN 55422
Manor Park in Robbinsdale is a small, 4-acre park with a recently upgraded playground and a popular splash pad that manages to feel tucked away, even right next to North Memorial Hospital.
