Things to do in Minneapolis-St Paul this weekend!

DANCE IT OUT

Dance to the music of the 1950s to the 1980s with The Rockin’ Hollywoods. 7-9pm, FREE.
- Sweetheart Valentine’s Dance | Lynnhurst Park, Minneapolis
Families can celebrate Valentine’s Day with D.J. music, food, crafts, games and family fun. 1-3pm, FREE.
Show the love simply by spending time with each other out and about – these can be the best gifts of all:
- Chinese New Year Open House | Harriet Alexander Nature Center, Roseville
Have fun learning about customs and the Year of the Pig. Feb 10, 12:30-4:30, FREE
After the open house, pop over next door at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center to learn how injured critters are nursed to health and released back into the wild. Our family visited last year for the first time and were surprised how family-friendly it is. Kids can pick a stuffed animal and walk it through each step of the rehab process – from the exam room to recovery room. 12-4pm, FREE.
- Saturday Family Fun Day: Nature’s Valentine | Springbrook Nature Center, Fridley
Activities are designed for grade-school age, but all are welcome. The nature center is itself is filled with fun, interactive exhibits. Feb, 9, 10-11am | FREE
