Summer Fun

Starting on July 22, Minneapolis will be hosting its annual summer party. While this year the Aquatennial has been shortened to four days, you won’t miss the most popular and fun and FREE events including the Torchlight Parade and Target Fireworks.

These four days are packed with several free options to enjoy (minus parking fees when and where they apply).

Wednesday, July 22

Centerpoint Energy Torchlight Parade
8:30 pm
Hennepin Ave from Dunwoody College of Technology to 5th Street

Twin Cities River Rats

 Thursday, July 23

Twin Cities River Rats Show
Mississippi River
West River Parkway
between Plymouth Avenue and Broadway Avenue

6 pm & 8 pm (bring your bug spray and something to sit on)

 

 

Target Fireworks

Saturday, July 25

Twin Cities Carifest
11 am-10 pm
West River Parkway between Plymouth and Broadway
A Caribbean Festival with traditional music, food, dance, crafts. Don’t miss the traditional carnival parade

Midtown Phillips Festival
Noon-8 pm
Stewart Park
A multi-ethnic celebration with food, soccer, music and so much more.

Target Fireworks

Target Fireworks
10 pm
3rd Avenue Bridge, Mill District
The culmination of the best day of summer!  Get there early as space fills up quickly.
