SOME FUN FAMILY IDEAS FOR THIS WEEKEND

LAST CALL FOR MAPLE SYRUP! We have one final family maple syrup program to share with you before the season trickles away for another year! Those out in the Twin Cities west metro (or those wanting to travel west) can visit BAYLOR REGIONAL PARK. A MAPLE SYRUP FESTIVAL is held in the park after the sap season has ended. April 2, 2022. 11am-3pm, please pre-register.

Saturday Morning on the FArm

Gale Woods Farm, 7210 County Rd 110 W, Minnetrista, MN 55364
This wonderful working farm is a great place for kids to get close and in barns (that’s my delighted daughter pictured). Read about a spring visit to the farm here. Spots will fill quickly. If you can’t make it to one of the farm tours, stop over for a self-guided walk around the grounds; Gale Woods is a public park and welcomes visitors. April 2, drop in between 9:30am-12pm. $5/pp.

OPEN HOUSE AT POND DAKOTA MISSION PARK

Each Sunday explore living history – currently the programs are being held outside so dress for the weather. Enjoy hands-on activities and walk on the trails. April 2, 2022. Drop in from 1-4pm, FREE or suggested donation of $2/pp.

NATURE ROCKS! EDEN PRAIRIE OUTDOOR CENTER OPEN HOUSE

Free family fun day with three rivers parks

Join naturalists for free, drop-in and kid-friendly programming at MISSISSIPPI GATEWAY REGIONAL PARK (Brooklyn Park) and RICHARDSON NATURE CENTER (Bloomington). Explore the indoor exhibits while you’re at it. No reservations needed. April 3, 2022. 1-3pm. FREE.

Grab your baskets and get ready for hunt! Our GIANT LIST has captured Easter egg hunts & activities all across the Twin Cities. Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

The Conservatory and Visitor Center of Como Park Zoo are particularly wonderful places to spend a chilly spring day. You’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to a tropical vacation! Como Conservatory’s Spring Flower Show is now in full bloom.
