Cedarcrest Park is a small (6-acre) park in Bloomington. Family-friendly amenities include a playground with separate tot lot and sports fields and courts. The park is popular in the summer because it is home to Bloomington’s only true splash pad. Restroom facilities are offered in the summer months. There is also free, off-street parking available at Cedar Valley Church next door. (Yes, it is okay to park there, however, the church offers Sunday services at 9:15 am and 11:00 a.m. You may want to wait to use their parking lot until afternoon on Sundays.)

For those parents who, like Joy, are uncomfortable letting kids run through sprinklers on concrete, this could be the splash pad for you. It has a rubber tile floor.
