TWIN CITIES 2023 CULTURE & HISTORY SUMMER CAMPS
MINNEAPOLIS & ST PAUL SUMMER CAMPS
American Swedish InstituteÂ

Day Camps for Ages 6-10 and multi-day camps for a variety of ages with topics such as Vikings, Pippi Longstocking, language immersion, and handcrafts. All camps took place in August 2022, dates for 2023 TBA. Day/$60, multi/$250-$300.
French Summer Camps
Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul, 227 Colfax Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55405
Kids ages 3-17 will learn French through games, projects and activities, including video projects for older kids, while exploring the world of film en français. Sessions: June 12 to August 25, 2023. Five-day camps: $200-$385 (or Virtual camp for $100).
German Language CampsÂ
Germanic-American Institute, 301 Summit Ave, St Paul, MN 55102
Kids will have the run of the GAI Haus and grounds this summer, exploring interactive themes while learning German. Beginners to bilingual campers are welcome at GAI’s half-day summer camps, with before- and after-care available. Ages 5-18. June 26 – Aug. 18, 2023 (no camp from July 2-7). $195.00 (members $175).
Gibbs Farm Summer Day CampsÂ
2097 Larpenteur Ave W, St Paul, MN 55113
Choose from Pee-Wee day camps for ages 4-5, and single-day and 3-day camps for ages 6-13. Themes include life on the farm, Dakota culture, nature, games, and tea party day camps. Sessions in June, July & August 2023. $22-$210.
Korean Culture Camps
Minnehaha Academy Upper School, 3100 West River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55406
Kids ages 5-14 will learn about Korean Culture, including arts, cooking, music & history. One session: July 17-21, 2023, daily 9:30-2:50pm.: $255 by 3/1/23; $275 after.
Minnesota Historical Society Summer Day CampsÂ
The MHS traditionally offers summer camp programming that includes educational programs, museum exhibits and summer fun at the following historic sites: Alexander Ramsey House, Fort Snelling, and Mill City Museum. Summer camp 2023 details TBA.

Gammelgarden MuseumÂ
2023 camps include a Little Immigrant day camp in June (ages 4-6), Comin’ to Amerika in July (grades 1-6)Â & Sewing and Quilting (ages 7-11) in August. $75.
White Bear Lake Historical SocietyÂ
Campers investigate the people, places, and events that make the White Bear Lake area unique. Summer camp 2023 dates TBA. Grades 3-6. $175.00

Dakota City Heritage Village Youth CampsÂ

Dakota City offers Master Apprentice Teen Camps (June 12-15, ages 13+), Junior Apprentice Camp (June 26-29 or July 10-13, ages 6-12) and a one-day Try It Camp (June 21, ages 5-9). The 2023 theme is “Farm Life”. $50-$150 per camper.
Dakota Language CampsÂ

For kids and adults of all ages (under 7 to be accompanied by adult). Make reservations through Bloomington Parks & Rec. June 28-30, 2023. 10am-3pm. $50/pp includes lunch.
Holz Farm CampÂ

Experience life on a 1940’s era farm. Morning sessions for ages 5-9; afternoon sessions for ages 10-14. June 26 – 29, July 17 – 20 and July 31- August 3. Camp fee: $94.
TWIN CITIES SUMMER CAMPS – WEST METRO
Historic Cahill School Homestead Camp
4918 Eden Avenue, Edina, MN 55424
Learn how to live like a 19th century pioneer child circa 1888. One room schoolhouse lessons, fun outdoor games and chores, cooking & Minnesota history. Recommended for kids ages 6-10. Mondays-Thursdays. 2023 sessions available: June 5th – 8th, July 10th – 13th & August 7th – 10th. Registration fees per session: $195 per camper ($315 per camper for extended day).
Isla School Spanish Immersion Summer Camps

Four wonderful weeks of camp for kids! Each week has a totally different theme and activities. They are all taught by ISLA staff. Come enjoy the summer and let’s get back to speaking Spanish or let’s start learning a new language! Half Day Camps are for Kindergartener students who want to have an immersion experience. No language skills are needed or required. Week long camps for grades K-6th grade. Sessions run June 26 – July 28, 2023. $190-$330.
