Paha Sapa Park in Burnsville is 21 acres and has family friendly amenities that include a spacious playground, space for picnics and green space for open play, sports fields and courts, including a four-square court painted onto the basketball court. In the winter this park maintains an ice rink and a warming house.

Paha Sapa Park Playground

The play equipment  at this park is large with multiple structures for various ages. There is somewhat of a car theme to this play area, with a cool green rocking race car for toddlers and a delivery truck molding in the landing between the slides. Other fun features include gymnastic rings and pull up bars. The playground surface is lined with wood chips.

Birthday Parties in the Park Building

A park building that holds up to 50 people is available to rent for birthday parties and other private events. This would make a great party location for a winter ice-skating party or a summer party for a younger child who loves cars. Call 952-895-4500 to make a reservation.

Ice Skating at Paha Sapa Park

This park is one of 13 Burnsville Parks that maintains an ice rink during the winter. Burnsville outdoor rinks are generally open from mid-December through mid-February, depending on weather. Skaters can use the ice any time during open park hours. However, the warming house is only open from 4-9 pm on weekdays, 10 am-9 pm on Saturdays and 1-9 pm on Sundays (with some special Holiday hours). For closings and weather-related call the weather hotline at 952-895-4505.
