Celebrate Earth Day at Eastman Nature Center

First, make a stop at the indoor nature center to “adopt” a portion of an outdoor trail to clean up. Plus, meet a live animal and participate in an eco-friendly self-guided activity. April 20, 2024, 1-3pm. FREE.

Free Family Fun Day at Mississippi Gateway Regional Park

Join naturalists for free, drop-in and kid-friendly programming at MISSISSIPPI GATEWAY REGIONAL PARK. This weekend, see real birds nests and eggs close up and try your hand at building one yourself. Drop in between scheduled hours. April 21, 2024, 1-3pm. FREE.

Meet the Spring Farm Babies!

Twin Cities Spring Baby Animals Festival

Located at 109th Ave and Hwy 169 in Brooklyn Park
A wristband will include access to the fuzzy farm babies and the play area with activities like a corn pit and hay bale maze. Pictured is my little one loving on the bunnies. April 20 & 21, 2024, 9am-5pm. $13-$15/pp.

Ramsey Food Truck Festival

We picked this food truck festival (out of the dozens out there this spring) because of its particularly family-friendly appeal: kids will get excited about the indoor carnival and all ages can enjoy Irish dancing and more live entertainment. Plus, great food from egg rolls to waffles with ice cream in between. April 20, 2024, 5:30-9pm.

Avant Garden Bookstore: Children’s Storytime

215 E Main St, Anoka, MN 55303
Kids will enjoy a storytime just for them, their grown-ups might appreciate that that the bookstore is also a coffee shop. Ongoing Saturdays. April 20, 2024, 10am. FREE.
