Twin Cities Northeast Metro Earth Day events this weekend
Pin the Green Award on the Minneapolis-St Paul Northeast Metro – they win for having the highest concentration of official Earth Day events in the Twin Cities. Gonna guess this is due to the hum of active nature centers in the area, though there are plenty of other communities in the metro getting in on the green, too. Oakdale Discovery Center, 4444 Hadley Ave N, Oakdale, MN 55128 Not technically an Earth Day event, but the chance to get kids 12 & under interested in cultivating a green thumb this spring. They can decorate a flower pot to take home and plant seeds in it before they leave. Call 651-747- 3860 to register for this FREE program or sign up at the link. April 21, 2024, 10-11am.
