Description
Naturalist-led programs are often offered at parks and natural areas around Bloomington. These typically take place on select Saturdays & Sundays each month, are interactive, fun and geared for all ages. Unless noted, these programs do not require advance registration and are free. According to the city’s website, some topics you may look forward to include prairies and pollinators, various habitats and animal species, apple cidering, nature photography, birding, bugs, maple sugaring, monarchs and more.

- February Skulls, Furs & Tracks – Discover hidden wildlife around the Pond House
- February Nature Craft – Snow Art – Make colorful snow art by build structures from colored ice blocks
- March Nature Craft – Seed Bomb – A naturalist will guide participants through the steps to make and history of seed bombs
- March Nature Craft – Nature Journals
- April Beginner Bird Walk
- May Discovering Dandelions – Learn the uses of the plant and make some dandelion art
