Madison Park is a 4 1/2 acre neighborhood park in Richfield with family-friendly amenities that include playground equipment, walking paths, sports fields and an ice rink in winter.
Ideas for family fun at Madison Park
- Let the kids play on the playground. The playground has been recently replaced with colorful and creative equipment that will challenge even the bigger kids. Its conveniently located next to the picnic shelter so parents can rest in the shade and still see the kids.
- Pack a picnic. The set up makes this a perfect lunch-and-play park.
- Play a game of HORSEÂ on the basketball court.
- Bring a playground ball to play kickball on the softball field. Note that the City intends to remove this field eventually.
- Stroll along the paved walkway. It is only 0.3 miles, so not too far for even the smallest walker.

Birthday Parties at Madison Park
This park has an enclosed building with limited rental availability for birthday parties. When it is not in use for other programs, it is available from 10am to 10pm May through September at an hourly rate with a minimum of 2 hours. It includes electrical outlets but no picnic tables.
