InnerActive Playground is an indoor park with locations in Mounds View and Plymouth, offering a fun and safe play space for children. With a variety of activities and equipment, children can stay active and entertained all year round, no matter the weather outdoors. This self-service indoor park that serves families with children from 1 to 17 and encourages families to play together indoors as they would outdoors. Like some other recently opened indoor playgrounds, it is self-serve and users are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Adult supervision is required and up to two adults can attend for free with a paid child. Unlike some of the other indoor playgrounds, this space is appropriate for children of all ages, including teens. However, the majority of the play area is geared toward grade school age. Teens may enjoy the sports court and the jumping pillow. Toddlers and crawlers can play with the bigger kids or enjoy their own area.
The facility includes a large playground plus several play zones, including a full-size basketball court, small soccer field, a huge jump pillow, giant foam building blocks, music-making area, and tot section. There is a cafeteria and families are encouraged to pack a picnic or snacks to enjoy while visiting. Oh! and there are pay-per-use massage chairs available for mom and dad!

InnerActive Tot Area
While much of the park is ideal for grade school and older children, there is a dedicated area for toddlers and crawlers. The area includes a smaller climbing structure, riding toys and age-appropriate toys. The entire area is lined with high-density foam flooring.
Purchasing Passes
Play passes are good for the day. Two adults per paid child and infant siblings (under 1 year old) are FREE. Additional adults can purchase an entrance fee for $5. Gift cards and monthly/annual passes are also available. Passes Must Be Purchased Online, but you can do it at the door with your cell phone if the playground has not reached capacity. All visitors need to sign a waiver (by a parent or guardian for minors).

Birthday Parties at InnerActive Playground
A private party room is available to rent for birthday parties and other private events. Room rental includes up to 10 guests and hosts can purchase guest passes for additional children at a discounted rate. Families can bring their own cake, food and supplies. While the room reservation is booked for a one-and-a-half-hour time slot, the play passes are good for the full day.

Where did The Minnetonka Location Go?
The Minnetonka location closed in 2022 after the lease was not renewed. A new location, in Plymouth is in the works. Owners, Ted and Stacy Anderson, hope to open the Plymouth location before the end of 2024.
