Located in Edina and managed by the Edina Historical Society, the Historic Cahill School and Minnehaha Grange Hall are historic sites available for tours and field trips.

Historic Cahill School

According to Edina Historical Society, the school is one of Edina’s oldest standing buildings. It was built in 1864, when it served as a community meeting space and worship space as well as a school. Learn more at the City of Edina’s Website.

Minnehaha Grange Hall

The Grange Order was started by Oliver Kelley (of Oliver Kelley Farms) as a fraternity of Farmers. Grange Hall is still in use for monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., and the public is welcome to attend these meetings. Learn more at the City of Edina’s Website.

Summer camps at Historic Cahill School

This Edina Historical Society hosts summer camps at this location focusing on Pioneer history. Kids can learn how pioneer children of the late 1800s lived. Camp includes one room schoolhouse lessons, fun outdoor games, chores, teas and treats, crafts and more.

We include these camps in our annual summer camp guide with updated prices and camp dates.
