Arneson Acres Park is a 13 acre park in Edina that is home to the city’s greenhouse and historical museum. It holds 28 gardens, including a woodland garden, a lily garden and a daylily garden, formal gardens, hosta gardens, perennial gardens, and the Memory Garden. The Memory Garden’s tranquil space features a large peony bed, fountain and the park’s gazebo. The greenspace is surrounded by tall evergreens and hedges. In the spring and summer of 2018, the garden will receive updates that include more benches, a pergola and a mood door. It will also have more native plants added to the beds. The Edina Historical Museum can also be found in this park. It is open to the public on Thursdays (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and Saturdays (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
