The Maple Grove portion of Battle Creek Park is home to Waterworks Waterpark, a playground and a dog park. Saint Paul Parks manages the Saint Paul side of Battle Creek Park.

Battle Creek Waterpark

Battle Creek Waterpark (formerly Waterworks) is located in Battle Creek Regional Park. This pool is geared toward families with children 10 and under. There is a shallow water pool with interactive water play equipment and a  separate activity pool with lily pad walk and swim area. For the grade school kids, there is a three story twisting waterslide with plunge area.

When the kids need a break from the water, there is a sand play area and a sunbathing area. Family-friendly restrooms, showers and changing areas are provided.

If you come with kids three and under, remember to bring a swim diaper or purchase one there. Appropriate swimwear is required for all guests. “Revealing swimsuits” (aren’t all swimsuits a bit revealing?), cutoff shorts and colored t-shirts are not allowed.

There is no outside food allowed in the water park area, but there is plenty of free parking and picnicking areas in the greater Battle Creek park.
