Calling all little ones who adore trains! The Lake Superior Railroad Museum has got the perfect program for you. Trains & Toddlers, held the second Monday of the month, offers a special story time and toddler-centric craft from 10-11:30am. There’s plenty of time to explore the museum’s rolling stock of locomotives and equipment. As an incentive, adults enjoy $7 admission during this event and kids (3-13) are admitted for just $4. WANT TO TAKE A TRAIN RIDE? The North Shore Scenic Railroad operates out of Duluth’s Union Depot as well and offers themed excursions such as the Christmas City Express during the holidays, pizza trains, fall color tours and full-day excursions as far as Two Harbors.
