Perpich Center for Arts Education Arts High School is a tuition-free, public school in Golden Valley for students committed to “serious study in the arts and academics”. Some students choose to live on campus during the school year and, for students who living outside the schools radius, residential fees are waived. Students living in Hennepin and Ramsey county are required to pay a reasonable dorm fee. Families may enjoy visiting the school for one of their many affordable community events such as plays, musical performances and art exhibitions.

Summer Camp at Perpich Center for Arts Education

The school offers summer arts camps for kids in middle school and high school. Topics include animation, photography, drawing, fiber art, papermaking, music, theater, improv. Week long camps are offered both in half-day and full-day formats and are open to any students entering 6th through 12th grades.  We feature these camps in our annual summer camp guide, where we update prices and dates each year.

The Perpich Library

The library at Perpich is free and open to all Minnesota residents to join. Find arts and education materials geared toward teaching artists and educators. Homeschooling parents may like that they check out teaching kits on a variety of subjects. Note that e-resources are only available to students and teachers of the school.
