Young Dance 2024 Summer Camps and Classes

Young Dance offers 6-week Dance Together and Creative Movement classes and camp options for ages 4–7 and 8–18. Summer programming begins June 3 and continues through August 22, 2024. Since 1987, Young Dance has been transforming lives through movement. We are an inclusive community where creativity flourishes, and healthy risk-taking is encouraged. Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies

GTCYS offers summer orchestral experiences for youth ages 8-18. Camp is led by GTCYS conductors for string, woodwind, brass, and percussion students of all abilities. July 24-26, 2024. $245-$350.

Minnesota Boychoir Bootcamp

75 West Fifth Street, Suite 411 Saint Paul, MN 55102
Boychoir Bootcamp is open to boys ages 6-12 and includes choir rehearsals, games to teach new skills, music theory and a performance. Camp runs from 8:00am to 4:30pm followed by a short performance for family and friends. August 12-16, 2024. $250.

Minnesota Youth Symphonies Summer String Camp

Participants in grades 2-9 participate in orchestra rehearsals and learn earn a wide variety of repertoire. June 24-28, 2024. $400 (last year’s cost).

Musical Storytelling Camp with Songs with Sarah

404 East 48th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55419
Campers will delve into music in media, improvise using different classroom and rhythm instruments, and create their own music and skits. Instrumentalists of all levels and abilities are welcome. If you aren’t a musician, but love to act, this is the camp for you! Ages 8-12. June 24th-28th, 2024, 9am-4pm. Optional half day: 9am-1pm.

Saint Paul Conservatory of Music

A full-day music camp for aspiring young musicians in grades 1-6. Camps include music lessons, creative play, and presentations by professional musicians. Summer session July 8-19, 2024. $675.

School of Rock Summer Camp

244 Cleveland Ave South, St Paul, MN 55105
No experience needed. Students will explore their instruments through musical games and social activities. Instruments and skills include guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals. Time to rock out. Sessions run in June (10-14), July (8-12) & August (5-9) in 2024. $295-$400. 

Wizarding World Camp with Songs with Sarah

Calling all musical witches and wizards! Join your professors as they guide you through the wonderful world of wizardry and dive into the magical world of Hogwarts. Students will be sorted into musical houses, create musical spells and potions, follow a musical marauder’s map and more! This camp may have some spoilers, so seasoned and avid readers of the books will be more charmed, we’re sure. However, we don’t expect an “Exceeds” on your O.W.L to join us; just having read or watched through movie three is our prerequisite! Note to second and third year returning students: We will have new mischief and some old mayhem, so come back and join us if you dare! Ages 8-12. July 15-9th, 2024. Half day with full day option.
