Bunker Hills Regional Park has a good size playground with a (very) small splash pad, a tot lot, and mostly standard equipment, except one loopy, climby structure. There are paths for biking, hiking and cross country skiing. There are five picnic pavilions and plenty of green space for ground picnics spread throughout the park. Bunker Hills is an affordable and nearby option for camping.
Bunker Hills Beach and Water Park
This park is home to Minnesota's largest outdoor water park, including a wave pool, lazy loop, twisted towers and adventure pool. The beach season runs from early June - Labor Day. Beach hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., daily. This water park is not one of the cheaper parks with admission running from $14.00 to $16.00 per person plus the park's vehicle fee and extras for use of lockers or float tubes. Season passes are available and will pay for themselves quickly for those who swim often. Concessions are available at the water park.
