Sumner Field Park in Minneapolis is beautiful to visit in the summer to admire the cut flower garden, wetlands and basset creek during a family walk or bike ride along the paved pathways through the park. The park also hosts summer movies and events.

Sumner Field Cut Flower Garden
Beginning in May, the park’s Cut Flower Garden starts blooming, but is really spectacular the later summer, approximately July through September. Visitors can bring scissors and a jar to gather a bouquet.
