Richardson Nature Center
Located within Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Richardson Nature Center is home to natural beauty only minutes from the city. Inside, visitors can meet Richardson’s resident raptors, reptiles, and amphibians up close. There are many kid-friendly exhibits such as a puppet theater, child-sized tables and chairs for reading and puzzles, and aquariums at just the right height. Outside enjoy the nature exploration area.
2020 Updates
Three Rivers Park System has chosen to keep nature centers closed to the public during the summer of 2020, so they would be available for summer camps and programming. For a complete list of what is open and closed in 2020, check Three Rivers' Covid-19 page.
