Description
Richardson Nature Center staff presents monthly nature programs for parents to attend with their preschool kids (ages 2-6). These may include imaginative play, handling nature objects, a puppet show, short hike outdoors or self-guided play. Cost is $5-6/person, both child and adult register and pay. Reservations required online or by phone 763-559-6700.
Family fun at Richardson Nature Center
When no formal programming is offered, there is still plenty to explore as a family for free. There are hands-on indoor exhibits that appeal to kids, an outdoor raptor enclosure and free nature exploration kits that can be used to enhance your time outdoors.
