Ideas for Family Fun at Oak Leaf West Park

This is a great park for bringing along some sports gear and a picnic lunch for a field day. Bring along a playground ball, baseball and tennis gear, horseshoes and any lawn games you might want to play. There is lots of green space to run around.

  1. Bring a playground ball for a game of dodgeball in the green space. No ball, play other fun outdoor running games.
  2. Play kickball on the baseball field
  3. Shoot hoops in a game of HORSE on the basketball court
  4. Strap on some roller skates and skate around the park sidewalks. The paths are shaded by mature trees.
  5. Pack a picnic for a lunch outdoors. There are small picnic tables near the playground.
  6. Run around the playground
  7. Practice tennis.
  8. Bring along some horseshoes to play a game in one of the park’s two courts
