Fishing Lake Isabel

The park offers both a fishing pier and a boat launch to facilitate a family fishing expedition. Fish species in Lake Isabel include northern pike, crappies, panfish, and bass. The fishing pier was removed during spring flooding in 2023, but is back in place for the summer.

Updates to Lake Isabel

In 2023, the city of Hastings is updating Lake Isabel Park.

• Construction crews are building an ADA accessible walkway between the upper and lower areas of the park.
