Golden Valley's Brookview Park offers amenities including playground equipment, hopscotch squares, walking paths, picnic shelters, game courts and a horseshoe pit.
The walking paths can be beautiful in the summer with wild flowers growing along the lake.
It is also the home of Brookview Community Center & Brookview Backyard Indoor Playground.
This park hosts the annual Penny Carnival.
Birthday Parties at Brookview Park
Brookview has two picnic shelters available for private use. Shelter rentals run between $100 to $150 for time blocks of 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. until dusk. They are available from mid-April through the first week of October.
