Family Fun Directory of Things To Do with Kids:
Opening December 2, 2017, Brookview Backyard will be the west metro’s newest indoor playground. The Backyard is located on Brookview Drive near Wayzata Blvd and is a 3,000-square-feet of indoor play space with areas for kids ages 2-5 and 6-12. The play equipment rises three stories high with slides, cargo climbs, and interconnecting tunnels. Kids will also enjoy the bumper balls, log rollers and cave crawls. The Backyard is proud of its state-of-the-art cleaning system that keeps the playground sanitized daily.
Because of their close proximity, family outings to the Brookview Backyard could be combined with a visit to the Brookview Golf Course. Children playing in the Backyard need to be supervised by an adult at all times, so you can't just drop them off and go golfing. However, Brookview Golf Course offers a variety of family-friendly activities including family golf times, winter activities, lawn bowling and disc golf. A relaxing visit to an indoor playground and restaurant may be a good way to end an outdoor visit to the golf course.
Birthday Parties at Brookview Backyard
Book a party room for birthday parties and other private events up to nine months in advance for $120. If you prefer a private party, families can also book the Backyard for two hours of exclusive use. Private reservations include use of both party rooms and can be scheduled for non-public use hours. The fee for this is $280 plus $100 per additional hour.
