Belwin Conservatory Winter Twilight Hike

1553 Stagecoach Trail South, Afton, MN 55001
Take a guided winter hike at the magical twilight hour through the preserve. A campfire with hot beverages is included. This could be a good outing for your tweens and teens. January 13, 2024, 4:30-6:30pm. $10/family.

Snow tubing update in the Southeast Metro

The two major snow tubing venues in the Twin Cities Southeast Metro are still busily trying to manufacture the stuff Mother Nature hasn’t yet blessed us with much of.

  • BUCK HILL, Burnsville: The tubing lanes are currently open and were discounted to $18/2 hrs when we last checked. There is an onsite restaurant for your warm-up and snack-craving needs.
  • TRAPP FARM PARK, Eagan: As of this publish date, the tubing hill appears to have tickets available starting January 18. Just $5/pp, must purchase online.

Minnesota parents unite and agree – it’s essential to know where to escape the elements and still keep their kiddos active and creative. During the months of November through March we feature the best indoor play spaces in the Minneapolis-St Paul area on our site, hoping to help you discover something new. This weekend we highlight The Little Village in Cottage Grove. There are elements for gross motor play, a Creative Lab with daily art project included in admission and carefully designed (optional) workshops for kids. Drop-in play admission is $15/child; $12/sibling; $5 babies 0-9months (or free with sibling).
