Join naturalists for free, drop-in and kid-friendly programming atMISSISSIPPI GATEWAY REGIONAL PARK. This weekend, take a self-guided trail to find letters of the alphabet in nature. Drop in between scheduled hours. April 14, 2024, 1-3pm. FREE.

Animal Humane Society, 845 Meadow Lane North, Golden Valley, MN 55422 Help celebrate a decade of helping “pocket pets” find forever homes. There will be a mix of paid and free activities including bunny yoga, crafts, games, face painting, snacks and more. April 14, 2024, 11am-3pm.FREE admission, a fee for some activities.

Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Avenue North, Plymouth For Minnesota parents it’s a must to know where to escape the elements and still keep those kids active and having fun. During the fickle early spring we still suggest ideas for indoor playgrounds in the Minneapolis-St Paul area in the hopes of helping you discover something new. This weekend we highlight the KUBE Indoor Playground in Plymouth. Kids Ultimate Backyard Experience (or KUBE) brings backyard fun indoors with playhouses, ramps, slides towers with ladders. Best for ages 2-12. $6-$8/child. SPECIAL EVENT: This weekend is Sensory Friendly Sunday at KUBE. Must register ahead for playtime in the gym and on the playground.
Back in the classroom – ages 4 & up with their adults can pop in for a free art lesson. Free, but you must register as the spots fill quickly. Don’t snag one? Plan ahead – you can register in advance on the website. April 13, 2024, 10-11am.
