Your chance – or your child’s – to try Nordic skiing for FREE! Free ski rental and mini lessons included – see our full event list. There’s a chalet onsite to warm up with food and beverages.
2025 Nordic Ski Opener schedule
- 8am | Skaði’s Chase Nordic ski race – registration required
- 9am-3pm | Free Nordic ski rentals & mini lessons – trails for all ages and abilities, ski the 2.5K loop with manufactured snow.
- 9am-3pm | Nordic Market open with passport stamping activity
- 9:45am | Ski with Goldy the Gopher
- 10am-3pm | Kids Area open for ages 4-12 to test skills on a ski obstacle course
